I opened my eyes, last night, and saw you in the low light
Walking by the bay, on the shore
Staring up at the planes that aren't there anymore
You happened to look, and see, the tunnels all around me
Running into the dark underground

Never had a day passed so hectically and so tiring for me. We were preparing to move all the things to the new space so that we may begin operations immediately tommorrow first thing in the morning at the newly renovated wet market.

But once we moved all our things there, it was more cramped than I thought it would be. The orange boxes that we used to own would not be able to fit in at all. In fact, the stall would be so small that placing the main display thingy and the chopping board will fill up almost the whole space. Save for a little passage for entrance and the space to just turn around!

The market's layout changed totally. As in drastically. But well, our spot's still not too shabby. Considering that people offered my dad 5k to change spot. No way man. Though our official address might not be the good old #01-23 anymore. The new #01-57's not bad.

I just hope that everything will work out fine, and regulars will know where to find us. :D

Looking at SP's website, I must confess that I am sorely tempted to buy a tablet PC. Or more specifically, the Fujitsu T1010. It just looks so sleek, and the price tag is at $1.8k+(w/GST).

So I am thinking, why not? Afterall, its IS a tablet, and I could do my sketches on it! Poking around with a stylus made it even more tempting. But, everything has its downsides. My current Compaq model, CQ40-104TU is already out of production. But its a 2.00Ghz and boosts a 3GB ram. I think I got it last year at perhaps $1.7k? With a free printer.

Like I always thought, I should've waited. ): I could top up a couple hundred more and get a laptop that I can poke around with.

Ahhh. Maybe next year?

I declare this my bad hair month. I actually got my fringe cut at a new branch of the saloon I always go to. And I got really bad fringe now. I have this SHORT, as in REALLY short. SHORTHER than when I was going to school!

): It looks like some fugly doll fringe. I can't salvage it this time! T.T

I'm SO going back to my orignal saloon!
Tuesday, February 24, 2009

I think my fringe is too long! It gets IN my eyes. ): And I don't look nice with overly long fringe. Gahs! I'mma snip it off the next time.

-CUTS-

I was so busted today that I felt I did not even wake fully for the whole day until now. Probably what I do everyday became so habitual that I can do everything on 'auto-pilot'. ):

I almost wanted to skip dinner and sleep through to the morning. But Dad and bro's incessant harrassment woke me up. Plus the 4 crabs that I brought home today. Those were my dinner. I didn't even get any rice for goodness sake! :x It was because I dumped my untouched rice back in the rice-cooker. Who needs rice when you've got 4 crabs to finish?! O:

My schedule is tiring me out a little. Hahas. ):

So people. If you want to see me. Book an appointment with me! Only Mondays are available! Book now. Only limited days are available!

P/S: Book at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. Special thingys like important school stuff will be exempted :D Ahah. I sound weird!

I went to watch Pink Panther 2 with YP, BS, and WC.

The film was quite hilarious, and I enjoyed it alot. ALOT better than the silly movie that I forgot the title. (The silly movie starred Fann Wong and Christopher Lee)

The ingenuity of the detective, as well as how blur he was, is the selling point. :D Not forgetting the laughters! And how he described a polite introduction as foreplay, cracks me up inside!

We went for Pepper Lunch after that. Before moving off to NYP to look for SY and the gang. Really fascinating people AJC has. :x I think JCs have more people from weird backgrounds than poly. Or perhaps I've seen nothing yet! Saving the best for the last, maybe?

I've had an interesting day today. And met many people from varying backgrounds, and knowing people better.

Due to the MANY MANY tags I've accumulated over time. :x
I'll just make a short post of replies here. There won't be a next time!

vin- Not only will SBK stay strong, SBK will exist LONG LONG :D
siying- He needs spectacles badly. Now he's bringing it out along with him, cos he can't read menus anymore. Haha :x
Juliana!- The web probably got some copyright issues and such. o: Not surprsing. Bride Wars is a tale of 2 women. And I sympatise with the men in the movie. Poor men. ):
ping- LOL like that also can! Hope you've had a fun day today. I was being a total drab!
Saturday, February 21, 2009

I think my Dad needs to wear spectacles all the time already.

He walked past my room to the living room asking my brothers where am I. When I am sitting with the lights on and everything in my room. My room is DIRECTLY OPPOSITE his room!

Or is it that I am transparent to him? Hahas.

I realised that well. Alot of things happened in SBK, and I was not there most of the time. SO... I'm lagging behind abit.

BUT! I think I caught up abit today.

Friends. Whatever you do. And whatever happens. Do stay strong, and NEVER hesitate to ask me on anything. Anything at all.

I might be slow in my response, but I will NEVER ignore you when you need a shoulder to cry on, or a listening ear to speak to.

Feel free to tell me anything. Once a SBK, SBK you are, for LIFE!

I re-visited my old blog. And well, I realised that there's alot of angst in me, in the past lar. I think I have a couple of posts missing. Might be still in the drafts? Guess so.

After that I realised that I used to be more funny. Unlike the me now. Seriously serious.
Wednesday, February 18, 2009

I've been quite busy with nothing lately. Okay, maybe the work is wearing me down.

I've always wanted to like, open a blog to plot my adventures at work. Or rather, misadventures. That plan was thought of, like 6months ago. ):

I'll see. We'll see. Yeah.

We had a SBK outing today! We caught the Wedding Game at AMK hub. The seats were so much nicer there! At least it didn't make my butt hurt as bad.

There was this adorable little kid I must mention! He was sitting right in front of me, and played Peek-A-Boo with me! He is a tad mischevious, like all lil kids are. Hahas. So whenever the movie's boring I play Peek-A-Boo with him too.

When the movie was finished, he was about to go with his mom. He waved goodbye to me. So, I waved bye bye and turned around to look at the rest.

Then, I felt something poke me. I turned around, then the kid was like saying "Bye bye!" and waving to me again! So cute! Plus, he attempted to walk up the aisle beside me all the time! Hahas.

After the movie, we went to look for Gibson (Lao Da, don't play play. He's the gang boss! Heh :x), and took the train back to CWP.

Originally we went to MacD for dinner, then after WC and Jason bought their meals. SH and I changed our minds and went to MOS instead! Gibson followed suit, so the rest went with us to MOS.

It was Gibson's first trip to MOS! Cute lar him. He didn't know how to order.

After that, we sat there and chatted for quite some time. Plus, we saw YH's 2 year old sister! Kawaii neh! She's so adorable, she's just like a doll!

M: YH! Bring her here! She's so cute! I want to play with her.
Gibson: Give birth to one la, can play whole day.
M: -stares-
SH: I got consider before!

Cute right, that SH!

Alot more happened, but well. I'm considering getting contact lenses. :D SH. GET THEM WITH ME!

Under Jub's encouragement, I opened a Live Journal account! It's still in it's infancy. Far from being an accomplished blog. But still! I will share it with you guys when the time is right.

Meaning everyone will know soon enough!

As long as I don't dump it! :x Afterall, I am so used to blogger. :D

*Jub, thanks for the support! I'm touched too! I can't believe that you quoted a whole chunk of words from me. I feel so... wordy. o.o*

Ok, once again, I'm blogging about friendship again. I never wage a war. Why? As I learnt in History lessons, in war, there are no definite winners. Both parties lose. Maybe, only maybe, only in slim chances that one will emerge, unharmed, and unscathed from the fight, and win. That's why I have NEVER confronted you. Save for the one time I asked why do you do the dirty little things you do in secret.

Personally, I always felt that having true blue loyal and honest friends, friends with integrity, friends who care, who love, and who go through thick and thin with you.

I don't care flock to places where there are happy news, happy occasions, because I know that the person will have loads of people to celebrate with, and there would be no lack of blessings. I would still bless that person in private, from the bottom of my heart.

But when a person is lone, and sad, desperately reaching out for a soul who cares. Those who were with them, who had celebrated joys with them, are no where to be seen. Either that, or the supposed 'friend' offers little or no support. Only to flock back when there's laughter to go around, or to cling on like an ugly barnacle when trouble's brewing for the person.

You know what, I really despise people who step on others when they're down. Are you really that busy? So, a friendship forged is 4 days is stronger than one forged over 4 years? Whether or not you have chosen to ignore that fact, the actions you did are obvious. People will feel that you are being outrageous.

No more playing the victim when no one's even victimising you. I'm aware whose big problem it is now.

No point harping on it, and I now see why you don't trust people. You've got a disgusting character doubled with hypocrisy. It irks me to no end. And oh, by the way, I've deleted you off my MSN list, AND my handphone. (I should have done that one whole fucking year ago.)

You will cease to exist to me, from now onwards. Have many happy days ahead.

*** This whole episode is freaking out of my system now. I R TEH ZEN! ***
P/S: I am not proud of swearing again, for this lesser being. Yes, I am mad. And I need to get it out of my system, once and for all.

And oh, I nearly forgot.

Happy Valentines, my dears!

& Many happy days ahead. Thanks for all the SMSes. Appreciated. Heartfelt. Thankyou once again.

I have loads to blog about today! Ok, alot of it is like, long overdue already. But, bear with me okay? I love to read my archives on blue days. (Yes, yes, weird me.)

-

I went with JL, WC and WY (WC's friend) a few days ago to the driving school. Heh. WC scammed us! ): He said the school was only one road away. And his so-called 'road' is fricking long away! It was quite a long wait and well. I just went to have a look rah. Nothing much there.

JL is very very evil. You MUST be at least 18 to take the all the tests. And since I am not of age yet, he was like 'YT is the saddest one here. She wants to take the tests so desperately.' UGH! No response to that is the best response! Evillllll ];<

I noticed some pretty ladies there. :D (For the record, I'm straight. Not much handsome guys there. Only one of the 'hensem' quality. REJECT arh, that one!)

After that we went back to CWP, and WC was moaning about the expensive train fare. ): The crap that polytechnic students have to endure, and with this type of crap economy, not only the poly students are unhappy. I suppose the parents are too. After all, poly peeps have no income, exactly like the JC peeps.

There's a crap load of contradictions in that issue, and I will only bore me to pieces, should I care to explain it all.

JL went to CWP, and we shopped around for A's roses. It was weird seeing JL buy flowers for a girl. Hehs.

-

I started going on STomp forums, because I realised that well, it's similar to the good ol' PPF. And, well, it's not as messy and cluttered. :D So, I activated my dusty account! It was registered Nov '08. But never used for posting, until now!

I found a fellow SP architecture student there! I am elated! Hahas. I can't believe my luck!

That's about all I can unload for a time. So until later. :D
Friday, February 13, 2009

You see. I've always had this hunch, and I was right. Again.

My friend's mothers dislike me. No matter if I am on my best behaviour. D;

Crap man. I am so so so well behaved. In some cases, even better than their own kids! Yet they think I'M the one leading them astray. Psh!

First of all,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GIBSON!

He's even older than an oldie now! :D

We went to celebrate his birthday yesterday at CWP. We caught the movie Bride Wars! The story was well, quite interesting. Except the seats make me feel very uncomfortable halfway through.

I kept squirming and shifting. Haha.
Monday, February 9, 2009

I don't mean to offend any of you with regards to religion. It's an extremely touchy topic, in which I will tread lightly upon.

Here is a few interesting reads, regarding Satanism, Christianity and Atheism.

Following is a STomp thread. http://talkback.stomp.com.sg/forums/showthread.php?t=61249

A blogger who is an atheist, like me. http://www.atheozoa.blogspot.com/

I find the blogger is able to explain in a way I cannot, because of the fact that he researches and delves far deeper into the topic. He can think and rationalize in a higher level than I do!Sometimes, it just makes me fed-up when I cannot explain myself. O: I think I shall learn from him!

I had such a fabulous day today with YP! We went to Bugis, we walked around several times. (Hm. Maybe 'several' is an understatement, but who cares?)

We both got a set each! A top and a pair of skinny jeans. I am forever in need of jeans. Hahas. After that, we kinda went to Far East plaza. It's way overrated okay. That's unless you like heels (that kill) and dresses (unfortunately a big NO-NO for me.)

(People who know me, imagine me in a dress with heels. Now if THAT doesn't terrify you, I won't know what else would. -.-)

After all those shopping and yada- yada, we went to look for M, SY, BS (whom I didn't know previously before.). SY that siao char bor gave me and YP a passport photo of her in her AJC uniform. She even signed it at the back! LOL.) They went to watch a movie after that.

YP was hungry so she went to grab a meal in the foodcourt, while I picked out some slightly burnt cabbage for her. Hehe.

We went home after that.

I was so sad man! I wanted to look for YH and SH when I reached woodlands, but I think they went home or something. No one picked up my calls or answered my SMSes. ): YH called me, but I didn't hear my phone ring. Argh!

I think virus creators suck. Seriously.

Not only they are annoying, troublesome, irritating, they are also horny. Here's why. They always use lures. (Stupid statement, of course)

Luring people with promises of photographs. Party photographs, nude photographs, sexy ones, whatever. And I don't understand why some people will fall for it. (Ok, they might have some private unknown desires and what-not, and I will not delve deeper.)

It's goddamn irritating, but I don't have the heart to block those people, even if I don't know them well. To me, it's a sign of courtesy. What if their accounts got fixed? O:

Argh, maybe somebody needs to set up an organization or whatever to educate some people of NOT clicking on suspicious links. And help to define SUSPICIOUS.

Ok, this post is just a result of boredom and pent up frustration.

I finally changed the blogskin, because I did it so painstakingly slow this time, I didn't wreck the codes like previously before. :D

It always helps (for me) to do something really challenging after when I just woke up, because most of the time I am too dull and slow and happy to realize whatever the crappy things that is happening to me.

Just a few more details to go.

Go me!

My dad is making me move about when all I want is to sit there and do nothing at all. Maybe except typing.
Sunday, February 8, 2009

I just woke up man! Hahas.

Ok, here's why I'm like, not appearing on the SMS/ MSN/ Calls radar for so long. Firstly, my work has weird hours. Somewhat akin to school. But, it made me so tired that I go to sleep in the noons most often of the time or go out with that for shopping or run some errands. Sometimes we go to Malaysia, and I don't switch on my handphone for good reason. (You guys won't want to pay more to send an SMS to say "Hello" to me in M'sia right?)

Secondly, I don't sleep late. In fact, I sleep pretty early. So no late night conversations. Even if it's around 9pm. Cos I might go to sleep as early as 8.30pm on some days.

So, I sincerely apologize to the 38Kias, and whoever else who didn't know that. (Heh, at least I know Vin knows all these. -sigh)

On a very very happy note, I am ABSOLUTELY FREE on Mondays. TOTALLY. Date me out to play on Mondays plox! :D
Saturday, February 7, 2009

I tried to change my blogskin today. But I messed up the codes and failed.

So, same old, same old.
Thursday, February 5, 2009

I know why Durians are King of Fruits.
They are also the King of Lame-ness.
Wednesday, February 4, 2009

I went out with YP to job hunt today. Not for me, but for her! I am just accompanying her. And she brought a friend along too! His name is Linus. Reminds me of a primary school friend.

I was an hour late today! I'm very very sorry YP! I didn't mean it! Loads of work popped up last minute. ):

Well, after circling CWP one round, and hearing YP say various random remarks about the jobs (like, Dian Xiao Er has ugly uniforms etc etc), we were certain there's nothing there. We met WC outside Swensens too!

Nevertheless, she applied for a part-time at Puzzle World.

We went to Somerset next, and went to Centrepoint. She applied for Haagen Daz, a shoe shop, and TCC. Man, its really quite alot.

Linus, the guy friend she brought along, was quite quiet. I didn't know what to say to him or how to strike up a conversation with him. He speaks very little too! D:

Anyway, after the whole day, when it's coming to an end, we met one of YP's friends at the MRT station. Just as we were about to leave! WQ is very very outspoken, and I really enjoyed conversing with her, even though I just got to know her. Her love for Eeyores is damn cute!

I went home, reached home, and realised that there's actually nothing to eat! ):

Ughhhh.
Monday, February 2, 2009

Well, today is the day when all of the JC peeps go to their respective schools to report. Me being the poly peep, have nothing to do. And it's a Monday for goodness sake! The only godly day in my entire week that I have absolutely nothing to do!

I did try to amuse myself. From blogging, blog-hopping, looking at blogskins, Youtube and even trying to memorise the lyrics of a song.

Vin just said that she would be out at around 6. Hooray. -.-

That's agony man, I've been looking to have a mini meeting with a few of the girls today. Yes, I was planning secretly. ):

Maybe I'll just harrass SH after her school. :D Afterall, she just got well. (She was sick previously. Quite sick, I heard.) But, my EZ-link card is dead! D:

P.S. I didn't spoil my EZ-link. It suddenly dropped dead of its own accord. Naughty naughty!

When you're always busy, always on the move, always onto something new, and if you stop all these momentarily...

You feel like there's nothing to do at all.

So, I'm gonna take this chance to do something new.

Like, looking for a new blogskin for this blog. :D

I went to Malaysia yesterday to lao yu sheng. Cos it's 'ren ri', and it's sorta like a tradition for my family already.

This year, it's held at a restaurant, bei jing cheng, at Sutera Mall.

Surprisingly, we saw our cousin, who works there as a waiter. :D Even after not seeing him for so long, he still looks more or less the same. Except his hair had a new shade of blonde, and his strawberry pink highlights that used to be at of his nape is gone. Pity. I used to like it.

Well anyways, the food there is not bad. But the yu sheng is considerably disgusting to me. No worries, I say that to every plate of yu sheng every year.

I'm no foodie. Me talking about food is pure weird.

After the meal, I was so tired that I was already struggling to stay awake. I wonder how my Dad manages to drive home. Gahs. Pro driver.
